Door Lift System
Lift-up cabinet doors look cool, but how are they to operate? Hardware manufacturer Blum's Aventos HF bifold lift system uses a top center hinge to make doors feel almost weightless. Stop doors in any position and they'll stay there; release doors and a soft-closing mechanism lets them down smoothly and gently. The system works with aluminum frames or wooden doors, and on panel or face-frame cabinets.
