How to Build a Bulletin Board

What You Need
- Primed picture frame molding
- Hand saw
- Paintbrushes
- Latex paint
- Pencil
- Yardstick
- Level finishing nails
- Hammer
- Wood filler12-inch square corkboards
How to Make It
- Cut two molding rails of the desired width.
- Paint the molding and both sides of the corkboard with two or more coats of latex paint. Let dry.
- Using a pencil, yardstick, and level mark a line for the bottom rail. Choose a height you can reach comfortably without straining.
- Nail the bottom molding along this line with the routed edge facing up.
- Set the corkboard in the molding. (Double-face tape can hold cork in place while installing molding.)
- Nail the top molding with the routed edge facing down and snug against the cork.
- Fill in nail holes with wood filler and touch up with paint.
