There's no gold rush in the West, where median prices declined the most from a year ago: 21.4 percent to $266,300. The Northeast dropped 6.5 percent to $267,700, and the Midwest was down 5.5 percent to $159,900. The South had the best showing with a decline of 3.7 percent to $174,200.
