Adjusting Drain Assemblies

If the water in your bathroom sink or tub gradually leaks out when you've stopped the drain, or if it doesn't drain out as quickly as you would like, you may need to adjust your drain assembly.

Before dismantling the assembly, pull up the strainer or stopper, and remove any hair or other debris hanging from it. Next, thoroughly clean away soap or other gunk that may be keeping the strainer or stopper from seating properly.
