Adding Bathroom Vent Fans/Lights

If your bathroom does not have a window that opens, most codes require that you have a vent fan to remove moisture and odor. Adding a fan can make your bathroom more pleasant, protect your walls from mildew and moisture damage, and can lower air-conditioning costs. You can wire a bathroom fan so that it operates by itself, but some codes require the fan to switch on with the light.
