Easy Cabinet Updates: Looking Glass

Update your kitchen with this easy cabinet door makeover. All it takes is a few tools and an afternoon.

What You Need:
How to Make It:
  1. Rout out the door's raised panel.
  2. Fill any nicks in the door with wood filler.
  3. Lightly sand each door to rough up the entire surface. For already-finished cabinetry, use a bonding primer to ensure new paint will stick.
  4. Apply two to three coats of blue latex paint.
  5. Cut the marbled glass to size. (A professional at a hardware store can cut glass for you.)
  6. Position in door with glass clips.
  7. Prime and paint muntins.
  8. Glue muntins in place to simulate the look of an old-fashioned window.
  9. Cover glass seams as necessary.
  10. Apply desired hardware.
