Danny Lipford, a veteran remodeling contractor, is an expert on homes and home improvement. As host and executive producer of the Emmy-nominated television show, Today's Homeowner with Danny Lipford® , Danny helps viewers keep up with the latest home trends and understand the steps and products involved with both small and large home projects.

In addition, Danny is the longtime home improvement contributor on The Weather Channel and has made more than 100 appearances on CBS' The Early Show as their home expert. He also has appeared on other national television shows including LIVE with Regis & Kelly, CNN's Open House and Inside Edition and has been a resource for numerous newspapers and national magazines, including The New York Times and Parade.

Danny's interest in home improvement began at just 9 years old when he bought his first electric jigsaw from a mail-order catalog with allowance money he had saved. At 21, he started his remodeling business, Lipford Construction, in Mobile, Ala., which soon became one of the most respected remodeling companies in the Southeast.

His television journey started in 1988 when he was asked to host a small, live cable show in Mobile. This show, Remodeling Today, grew throughout the region until it was nationally syndicated in 1998 and became Today's Homeowner with Danny Lipford®, which is now in its 11th season on more than 220 stations.

Danny's extensive real-life experience and friendly, reassuring manner take some of the mystery -- and fear-- out of the home improvement process.

Danny has been married for 25 years to Sharon and has three beautiful daughters, affectionately referred to as the "3 Echoes."
