Create a beautiful card covered
with roses.

Make the template using a corner punch to notch each square block. The tiny indentations make wrapping the threads easy.

What You Need:

  • White ridge-textured paper
  • Creative Memories white card stock
  • Hygloss Products silver foil paper
  • Pink rose-patterned vellum
  • Xyron machine
  • Marvy corner punch
  • DMC silver metallic thread
  • Family Treasures heart punch
  • Mrs. Grossman's flower stickers
  • Pop dots

Instructions:

1. Fold a 5-1/2 x 11-inch ridged-paper rectangle in half lengthwise. Cut a 5-inch white card-stock square. Adhere the square to silver foil and cut the layers, leaving a 1/8-inch margin. Attach it to the card. 2. Run the vellum through a Xyron machine for adhesive backing. Adhere the vellum to white card stock. Cut nine 1-1/2-inch square blocks from vellum and notch the corners with a corner punch. Wrap each block with thread, and tape the ends to the back of the block. 3. Punch nine silver foil hearts and press a rose sticker on each. Attach the hearts to the blocks and the blocks to the card with pop dots.
