What You Need:
  • RulerFelts in yellow-orange, orange, black, lime green, and purple
  • Pinking shears
  • Scissors
  • Sewing needle
  • Alphabet beads (1 B, 2 Os)
  • Small seed beads in clear and black iridescent
  • Thread in black and white
  • Large black seed beads
  • 5x6 3/4-inch (or other desired size) fabric-covered photo album
  • Fabric glue

Instructions:

1. Using pinking shears, cut a 3/4x2-inch piece from purple felt. Use scissors to cut a 1-1/4x2-1/2 inch piece from black. Place the purple felt piece in the center of the black piece. Sew the layers together by sewing the letters in place to spell the word "Boo."

2. Using pinking shears, cut a 2-1/4x3-1/2 inch piece from lime green. Layer the "Boo" piece atop the lime green. Sew the layers together by sewing small black seed beads on the black rectangle.

3. Using pinking shears, cut a 2-1/2x4 inch piece from black. Layer the "Boo" piece atop the black. Sew the layers together by sewing long black stitches extending from the black rectangle outward onto the green felt.

4. Using pinking shears, cut a 4 3/4x5-3/4 inch piece from orange. Layer the "Boo" piece atop the orange. Sew the layers together by sewing small black seed beads on the black rectangle.

5. Using pinking shears, cut the yellow-orange piece of felt to fit the photo album. To fit this album, the yellow-orange piece was cut to measure 4-3/4 x 6-1/8 inches, allowing the felt to extend on the sides only. Layer the "Boo" piece atop the yellow-orange felt. Sew the layers together by sewing large black and small clear seed beads on the orange rectangle

6. Use fabric glue to glue the felt piece atop the photo album cover. Let the glue dry.
