Halloween Tray
- Serving tray with glass insert and removable back
- Newspapers
- Black spray paint
- Sandpaper
- Tack cloth
- Originals or color photocopies of Halloween postcards, sheet music, cupcake trims, napkins, magazine covers, greeting cards, or other desired items that are relatively flat
- Thick white crafts glue
1. To make a tray, remove the back and the glass. Cover the work surface with newspapers in a well-ventilated work area. Spray-paint the tray black. Let dry. Sand the edges for a worn appearance. Wipe away the dust using a tack cloth.
2. Arrange the photocopies as desired in the bottom of the tray, trimming the pieces as necessary to fit. Glue the paper pieces in place. Glue additional decorations, such as the tops from cupcake trims, in place. Let dry.
3. Clean the glass, and reassemble the tray.
