Adorn a pot of spring flowers with these oh-so-adorable birds made from recycled egg cartons and plastic eggs. Paint single egg-carton cups and wooden dowels with bright colors; let dry. Glue each dowel to the back of an egg cup, then glue a plastic egg into each one. Add a matching feather to the back of each bird, and paint a corner of the egg cup gold or yellow to give your bird a beak.
Faux spring branches and homemade pom-poms crafted from yarn are the perfect Easter accent for a side table or a mantel. Dress up plain wooden eggs with colorful felt hats and ears with this adorable Easter decorating project. First, secure a white wooden egg to the bottom of an egg cup with a dab of glue; let dry. Draw two eyes on the front of the egg, and paint facial features onto the cup. Get our pattern for the hat and ears, available below, and cut out. Trace the half circle onto a piece of colored felt and the ears onto a piece of white felt; cut out. Fold the hat in half, and glue the flat edges together; let dry. Flip right side out and fold up 1/2 inch to form a brim. Glue the white felt ears to the inside of the brim.
Hop into Easter decorating with these oh-so-easy framed bunnies. All you need is 6-inch-square window boxes, fabric, scrapbook paper, and our bunny pattern (available below). Trace the pattern onto various colors of paper; cut out. Use adhesive to secure cutouts to 6-inch squares of patterned fabric, and set the fabric squares in each window box.
Simple embroidery patterns make this colorful Easter egg decoration a breeze. Get our patterns, available below, and print out. Put a 12-inch-square piece of thin white fabric over the pattern, and use a pencil to lightly transfer the design. Center the fabric on the inner embroidery hoop, and secure the outer hoop over it.
