Party Theme #1: Haute Cocoa

Add a little flavor to the traditional red-and-green holiday theme by adding a touch of cocoa brown. Deck your table with a cream-color tablecloth and a chocolate-color table runner. We created this table runner by folding a brown tablecloth to approximately 18 inches.

I'm really tired of lime green and red! The stark "chic" decor is too much like the 50's.

I'm enjoying almost all of the holiday ideas; thanks for providing them. But the one pictured in today's Christmas table ideas slide 11 & 12 says "Eat, Drink, and be Merry." I would suggest not using this on your cheerful, holiday table, as the Scripture from which it is taken follows that comment with (paraphrased) "Because this night you will die." Not a cheerful connotation there. However, the napkin folds are great.
