If you have a large dining table, this idea is an easy centerpiece solution. Set a wreath down on the table and place various candlesticks in and around it. Note the height variations from low votives to a tall hurricane candle.

When entertaining, it is important for the guest to be able to see across the table to converse with the other diners. Good entertaining is not solely about impressing your guests -- the most important point if your guests' comfort level.
