Berry-Trimmed Candles

Tuck pieces of wet floral foam into two pots, add a bit of greenery and some hypericum berries (available from most florists), and finish off the pair with festive holiday-hue candles.

What You Need
  • Drill
  • Floral picks
  • Pillar candles
  • Garden shears
  • Floral foam
  • Pots
  • Greenery
  • Hypericum berries

How to Make It

1. Make pilot holes for floral picks by drilling three or four holes into the base of each candle. Trim the picks as needed with garden shears.

2. Place a piece of wet floral foam into a watertight cache pot and cut off the foam at the rim. Make a ring of greenery and berries, leaving a space to insert the candle.
