How to Make a Tiered Bow

Bows add polish to packages, wreaths, and all kinds of holiday decorating, and these beauties do it with ease.

Tiered Bow

This easy-to-make bow adds a delicate touch to any gift. In two easy steps, you can make your own tiered bow.

Step 1

Use three widths and three types of ribbon to fashion this bow. Cut the widest ribbon the longest, the narrowest ribbon the shortest, and the remaining ribbon a length in between. Notch the ends. Tie the stacked lengths in the center with another piece of ribbon, leaving long tails.

Trim and conceal the ribbon tails, or use the tails to secure the bow to the package.
