A ceiling medallion is sure to be noticed when it's transformed into an ornate front door wreath. Spray-paint the elaborate hardware-store find with a coat of black paint and let it dry. Use your favorite shade of green to spray-paint the top coat, allowing the crevices to remain dark for an aged look. When dry, hang the wreath from 3-inch-wide coordinating ribbon.

Really not that expensive....just recently bought some for around ceiling fans. Thinking the same thing about our Christmas Bazaar at church for next year.
