Homemade snowflake ornaments
 

Shimmering Snowflake

Homemade ornaments add a personal touch to the tree. Cut a hole in the center of a purchased felt snowflake. Loop a length of ribbon through the hole and knot in front. Cut a circle of dark cardboard and a slightly larger circle of sheer fabric. Stitch the center of the fabric to the cardboard and sew the circles to the back of the snowflake.
