Even though megastar Halle Berry's recent turn on the big screen as Catwoman wasn't a smash hit, retailers are still expecting the frisky feline she played to be much-imitated for Halloween this year.

While there will be plenty of store-bought cat costumes to choose from, this look is also one of the easiest to create on your own. All you need are a few accessories and a couple of basics that are probably already in your closet.

Start with a black top and add either a black skirt and black tights or a pair of black pants. The necessary add-ons for your purrfect looks: Pointy ears (they usually come attached to a headband), a long tail, and a mask or black face paint to create whiskers and a black nose.
