Annuals can make a shady spot sparkle. To keep lots of color all summer, heavy feeding and regular watering is beneficial. Avoid high-nitrogen fertilizers but supply plenty of phosphorous. Help the annuals grow strong and bushy by pinching the growing tips of the young plants. Regularly remove spent blooms. Enjoy.
