Wooden Animal Ornaments

Materials:

  • 1/4-inch-thick hardboard
  • drill and 1/4-inch drill bit
  • barn red acrylic paint
  • sandpaper
  • dark or rust-colored thin wire
  • pencil

Instructions:

Print out patterns; transfer to wood. Cut out the ornaments. Drill a hole in the top of each ornament. Paint the ornaments red. Sand the edges to create a worn look.

Cut wire to 18-inch lengths. Thread wire through the ornament hole and loosely twist the ends together. Wrap each loose wire end around a pencil to curl it.
