No-Sew Style
Whip up some great window treatments with items around the house.
Let the Sunshine In
Even if you don't have much time to sew -- or no machine to sew on -- you can still make some great decorative treatments in a weekend.
Check out your linen closet or local department store for sheets and table linens that can be transformed into creative curtains.

any design to match the room.
- 2 twin sheets
- Rubber stamp
- Ink pads with fabric paint in two colors
- Ribbon for ties
- Curtain rod and hanging hardware
1. Prepare to stamp. Make sure your sheets are fairly plain and light in color so the stamping shows. Lay a sheet out flat on a work surface. (You may want to protect the work surface from ink with kraft paper or an old sheet.)
2. Randomly stamp the design in both colors. Let dry. Repeat with other sheet.
3. Hang curtain rod in desired location.
4. Hang curtains. Loop sheet ends over curtain rod and use ribbons to tie off. Arrange one sheet on either side of the window. Let the bottom edge puddle on the floor.
