4 Ways to Personalize Curtain Panels

Transform your curtains from simple to chic in one afternoon by adorning plain, ready-made panels.

Cottage Ruffles

Give curtains a flirty touch with a ruffle you can make.

What You Need

  • 2 curtain panels (we used $39 linen panels)
  • 3 yards of fabric for ruffle
  • Needle and thread
  • Trim
  • Fabric glue

How to Make It

  1. Fold a 6-inch-wide piece of fabric in half, then press flat.
  2. Pinch fabric every inch or so and stitch it to the underside edge of the panel.
  3. Use fabric glue to adhere a trim on top of the edge to give the panels a finished look.

I love this idea. I have bought sheer panels and they are too short for the drapes I bought. Hoping this idea will fix my problem
