Tall ceilings can make a room feel overwhelming, but are also a dramatic statement-maker. A soft yellow was used on both the walls and ceiling of this room to reign in the space. Rich wood crown molding visually separates the two. The stain of the wood is continued onto other woodwork, the built-in, and window mullions.
