Two benefit to having extras in the guest room: they're convenient for guests and you can see at a glance what's needed the next shopping trip. Hint: Keep a "to get" list in the closet - with a pen - for whoever to note when you're running low or need something new.

No room for a dresser or shelf outside the bath, either? Try a basket of immediate necessities, set on the floor. Then take it to the guest-room closet for refills.
Ageed redech01 - Keep tiolet tanks for small, refillable cleansers, t-paper
... no towels. Try a small shelf or child-size (small closet) dresser just outside the baathroom but in easy reach. Anything more than a day or 2 of necessities, go in a guest room drawer or linen closet - also convenient in a guest room.
ummm.. the toilet is in the bathroom where you shower right? I think it's meant to look like it's easy to grab the towels when you need them, not to store them on the toilet, lol. You people are being way too judgemental about these photos!! Think of it as.. a house in motion.
Storing towels on top of the toilet? I can't see having to move them someplace else each time you use the toilet and then having to move them back. Seems silly!

1/13/2010 01:49:56 PM Report AbuseI don't find the towels on top of the toilet lid "disgusting" so much as redech01 did but it sure is just plain silly.
1/13/2010 01:03:31 PM Report AbuseI used the punch bowl idea for toilet paper! Never thought to use it for towels. Great idea!
12/24/2009 01:12:38 PM Report AbuseWhy on earth would you put towels on top of the toilet? Even with the lid down - it's totally disgusting!!
