Before and After: Sunporch
This narrow sunporch had a squeezed-in feeling until well-placed accessories visually stretched the space.

Sizing Up a Sunporch
The Challenge: To enlarge the sense of space in a narrow enclosed porch. The room benefits from a wall of glass doors and windows on one side and a wide cased opening on the other, connecting the porch to the adjoining rooms. But within the room itself, the furnishings feel a bit crowded, and wall displays could be more effectively arranged.

The Solution: Pull the seating pieces into the room to relieve the crowded feeling and enhance the sense of space. This also opens up room for displays and better use of lighting.
