Repurposed Garage Door Art Display

A rustic garage door panel found at an antiques shop perks up this dining room wall and is an easy project you can do yourself!

Step 1: Sand off the old layers of paint and clean the glass on the panel. Paint the wood a color that complements your decor. Here, a blue-gray color is used.

Step 2: Tack on bulldog clips (available at office supply stores) to the panel. They provide a simple way to hang accents.

Step 3: Finally, decorate as you desire! Here letters that spell "cheers" hang from the panel to dress up a dinner party. Swap out decorations seasonally or on a whim.
