Tweed and Fringe Pillow
Quantities specified are for 52/54-inch-wide fabrics. All measurements include 1/2-inch seam allowances unless otherwise noted. Sew with right sides together unless otherwise stated.
From pink tweed, cut:
--Two 20-inch squares
From fringe trim, cut:
--One 86-inch length
--One 42-inch length
- Using dressmaker's chalk or a disappearing- ink fabric-marking pen, mark an 8-inch square and a 15-inch square in the center of a pink tweed square.
- Pin and hand-sew the 42-inch-long fringe trim to the drawn 8-inch square, being careful to create neat curves at each corner and to conceal the raw ends at one corner. Pin and hand-sew the 86-inch-long fringe trim to the drawn 15-inch square in the same manner.
- Sew the pink tweed squares together, leaving a 10-inch opening along one side. Insert the pillow form and hand-stitch the opening closed.
