Ripe Avocado Green

Blocks of vivid avocado green brighten this sun-drenched dining room, creating a welcoming spot for meals. Natural light brings out the warmer tones from the yellow end of the green spectrum found in this cheerful color choice. Wide swaths of white trim keep the green color pure and potent.

Your color personality: Loyal and involved

2/11
Mellow Jade Green

Walls and ceiling bathed in luscious jade green blend this lakeside retreat's living room into the natural surroundings outside its ample windows. Green has the easygoing ability to mingle with all colors of the spectrum, which makes it a perfect choice as background for a room with colorful furnishings as seen here.

Your color personality: Balanced and reassuring

3/11
Charming Apple Green

Vibrant toile in an unexpected combo of apple green and red covers beds, coverlets, and draperies to set the color palette for this charming bedroom. As the color of hope and renewal, green is the perfect choice for an invigorating private retreat such as a bedroom. Additional accents in green and complementary red along with crisp white trim keep the vivid toile from overpowering the space.

Your color personality: Serene and precise

4/11
Pure Celery Green

Green-painted walls visually expand the small dimensions of this updated cottage-style living room. Fabrics in bold-green-and-white prints transform classic furniture styles into pieces with modern flair while white slipcovers and accents add cottage freshness to the simple color scheme. Small pops of orange punctuate the room with panache.

Your color personality: Self-possessed and fair

5/11
Fresh Pistachio Green

Green is the ideal color for an open-plan house because multiple tones blend easily. These pistachio-green kitchen cabinets are visible from most rooms of the main floor, yet they bathe the room in color without overwhelming adjacent spaces. Vertical taupe-painted paneling provides continuity. Cornflower-blue plate racks mix with the fresh green color to exude a joyful mood.

Your color personality: Principled and open-minded

6/11
Neutral Celadon Green

Soft green paint creates a natural, neutral background like a quiet meadow in this open-plan condo. Rich brown upholstery unifies an assortment of hand-me-down furnishings and reinforces the natural mood. The neutrality of greens and browns allows a plethora of patterns and colors to mix freely in the open space.

Your color personality: Stable and visionary

7/11
Botanical Green

Leafy green walls and fabric meet the darker influences of black furnishings and brown window treatments to create a natural, restful effect for this bedroom. Tropical prints and a bamboo bed frame reinforce this room's soothing natural connections.

Your color personality: Prosperous and traditional

8/11
Lush Lime Green

This formerly beige dining room went from dull to dazzling with the application of lime-green paint on the walls. The balance adored by all lovers of green is achieved with the bold blocks of color and touches of complementary coral pink. The dining table gets the most colorful attention, with a multicolored stripe treatment that announces the room's color scheme. Window draperies bring in an organic pattern that reinforces the palette.

Your color personality: Active and welcoming

9/11
Breezy Grass Green

The playful mood of this dining room proves you don't have to paint the walls to pour on personality. The fresh green palette, perked up with touches of pink, is inspired by the bouquet of hydrangeas at the table's center. Bright drapery panels in a trellis pattern build on the garden design planted by modern floral-print pillows. A striped green rug brings the color scheme down to floor level.

Your color personality: Perky and cozy

10/11
Organic Sage Green

Deep sage green on the lower half of these reading nook walls create a cozy ambience, which is amplified by the warm yellow tones in the lighter celery green above. Other shades of green, ranging from a celadon lamp to an aqua pillow and rug, augment the color scheme while multiple patterns enliven the space.

Your color personality: Soothing and composed

The test is not accurate at all, those questions don't fit any of my personality. I love greens but not the greens you show, they would be more suited for a jungle. I love soft blues, greens, and yellows. My whole yard is filled with plants, flowers, tall grasses, bamboo and No grass. The website is definitely confusing, have to open way too many pages and can't access what you want to go back to easily. I find a color or something I want to go back to but then it is nowhere to be found.

I was surprised to see the test showing me as a "green" personality, I like mostly all colors. I am all into gray colors now, but next time I paint my living room walls, they will be green, celery green!

This quiz makes no sense and is completely inaccurate-- yuck!! Also, your website is very difficult to surf as the slides take forever to load instead of popping up on one page for quick scanning- your web design team has over engineered and created a high maintenance disorganized Frankenstein of a website.

Perhaps you should add other to each of your questions. I have a cleaning lady which leaves Saturday free to have fun. My gardening choices are a mix of grasses, hostas, and colorful plants. My color match said green, but I only use green as an accent color in my kitchen.

I wonder what this color test was based on and what makes up a red, yellow or blue personality. In fact I don't think I can go on without understanding why I've been pegged Green. How can you lay this on people knowing how this might disturb people? Perhaps you should post a disclaimer before exposing your readers to this emotional stress. Just a thought. Thank you for letting me to share.

Don't get burned! Wanting interior walls soft moss green, a "pro" painter decided 'butter cream yellow had more resale value' Just bought, I'm not reselling. Now my tile floors look like mud vs. moss. Who can afford to repaint? Decorating with moss green and other fall-jewel tones makes it okay.
