When you blow into your home like a blizzard, with winter in your face and muck on your boots, there's no greater luxury than plopping down in a comfortable, well-organized mudroom. Use the tips below to make that happen.
Room to roam. If possible, start with adequate elbow room. You'll want about 40 square feet at a minimum. When two people enter at the same time, there should be room enought for one person to remove a coat while the other sits to take off damp shoes.
