Centerpiece Instructions
Materials
- Quart-size carton
- Rectangular tissue box (or box of similar size) cut in half lengthwise
- Decorative paper
- Paper cutter
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Hot-glue gun and glue sticks
- Tracing paper
- Bottle cap
- Miniature flower picks
- Decorative trim
Instructions
- Using the carton and box as patterns, cut decorative paper to cover the containers; hot-glue in place. Cut a 3x6-inch roof from decorative paper allowing an equal overhang on both sides. From paper, cut two 2-inch squares for doors fold each in half. With folded edges at the center, hot-glue the doors to the church front.
- Download and cut out patterns. To make windows, trace the patterns; cut out. Use the patterns to cut three windows for the church front; hot-glue in place.
- To make the tree, twist floral pick wires together; fold out 1/4-inch-long pieces at the ends like roots. Fill a bottle cap with hot glue and press the wire roots into the glue until set.
- Using the photo for inspiration, hot-glue decorative trim on the church and tree base bottle cap.
