Table Decorations

Table Marker

Help guests find their seats by labeling each table with a name or number. The table names for this wedding have significance because of the bride's love of flowers.

The escort cards picked up by guests as they enter the reception area include their name as well as the table name.

You Will Need
  • Mat board
  • 5/16-inch heavy-duty hole punch

Instructions
  1. Use a computer to design a 3-x-6-inch table marker, centering a 1-inch-wide border vertically. Position a 2-1/2-x-1-3/8-inch three-line border rectangle 1 3/4 inches from the top edge, adding a table name to the center of the rectangle. Print two of each table marker on cream card stock and cut out.
  2. Cut two 3-1/4-x-6-1/4-inch rectangles of pale blue card stock for each table. Center a printed table marker on each pale blue rectangle with spray adhesive.
  3. Cut two 3-1/2-x-6-1/2-inch rectangles of mat board for each table. Spray one side of each mat board rectangle silver. When paint is dry, center a pale blue rectangle on the painted side of each mat board rectangle with adhesive.
  4. To assemble, punch two 5/16-inch holes 1/2 inch apart centered along the top edge of each table marker. Cut two 16-inch lengths of 1-inch-wide ribbon. With wrong sides together, align the holes of the table markers and thread a ribbon halfway through each hole. Tie the ribbon into a bow on each side of the table marker. Cut an inverted V into each end of the ribbon.

Escort Card

Planning for the unfolded card to measure 4 x 3 1/2 inches, use your computer to position a 7/8-inch-wide border 1/4 inch from the left edge with a 1-1/8-inch-diameter monogram centered on the border of the card front.

Personalize every card with a guest's name and table assignment. Print cards on cream card stock and cut out. Fold the card in half, aligning the 4-inch edges. Crease the fold with a bone folder or stylus.

Place Card

Planning for the unfolded card to measure 3 x 2 1/2 inches, use a computer to add the guest's name inside a 3-x-1-1/4-inch three-line border rectangle on the card front. Print the card on cream card stock and cut out. Fold the card in half, aligning the 3-inch edges. Crease the fold with a bone folder or stylus.

Menu Card

Design a 3-1/2-x-8-3/4-inch menu card with a two-line border on your computer. Position a 3/4-inch-wide border 1 inch from the top edge and center a 1-1/4-inch-diameter monogram on the border with the menu below. Print the menu on cream card stock and cut out. Cut a 3-3/4-x-9-inch rectangle of pale blue card stock. Center the printed menu on the pale blue rectangle with spray adhesive.
