Pale Pink Basket
What You Need:
- 5-inch-tall galvanized tin bucket
- 1 yard of pink mini-dot fabric
- 1/2 yard of pink lining fabric
- Hot-glue gun and glue sticks
- 18-inch length of 18-gauge florist's wire
- 1 yard of 5/8-inch-wide pink ribbon
- Satin-rose clusters
- 2 2 x 36-inch strips of pink silk fabric for bows
Instructions:
- Remove the handle from the bucket. Lay the pink mini-dot fabric facedown; place the bucket in the center of the fabric and mark a circle that is large enough to extend up the outside of the bucket and fold over the edge to the inside. Cut out the circle.
- Stand the bucket in the center of the circle and gather the fabric up and in; carefully hot-glue it to the inside of the bucket.
- Thread one wire end through a bucket handle hole; bend the end to secure it. Wrap the wire with ribbon until all is covered but approximately 1 inch from the end. Bend the wire into a U shape and thread the uncovered end through the opposite handle hole; bend the end to secure.
- Glue the lining fabric to the inside of the bucket. Hot-glue satin-rose clusters to the bucket rim and one to the handle.
- Form a six-loop bow with each silk fabric strip and glue one bow to each bucket side. Hot-glue a satin-rose cluster to the center of each bow.
