  • Self-adhesive, double-sided basting tape

Instructions:
  1. All measurements include 1/2-inch seam allowances unless otherwise noted.
  2. With right sides facing and raw edges aligned, sew one 5 x 11-inch Fabric B strip to each side of the center square. Press the seam allowances open. Sew one 5 x 19-inch Fabric C strip to the upper and lower edges. Press the seam allowances open.
  3. Cut two 10-inch-long pieces of gimp trim for the center panel side seams. Cut two 19-inch-long pieces of gimp trim for the center panel upper and lower seams. Baste the trim to the center panel side seams, then to the upper and lower seams, covering the ends of the side seam trims. Topstitch in place close to each gimp edge. Sew a chenille button at each trim intersection.
  4. With the tassels facing the inside of the front panel center and the tops 1/2-inch from the seam line, tack each tassel loop to a corner.
  5. With right sides facing and raw edges aligned, baste the cording around the front panel edges, overlapping the ends at the lower edge center.
  6. With right sides facing and raw edges aligned, sew the front and back panels together, leaving an opening for the pillow form. Press the opening seam allowances under. Insert the form and slipstitch the opening closed.
