Just Bright Quilted Messenger Bag

This simple, stylish messenger bag is just the right size to hold your keys and wallet for a quick trip to your favorite neighborhood coffeehouse.

For designer Pat Sloan, this bag was a fun way to use the inspiring trims, ribbons, and scrapbooking embellishments she always seems to be collecting. Fabrics are from Piece O' Cake's Serendipity line for P&B Textiles.

  • 4 -- 1/8-yard pieces coordinating prints (flap)
  • 1/2 yard red print (bag, strap)

  • 7 or more 10" lengths of ribbon, yarn, rickrack, or other trim
