      A monochromatic patterned paper as a photo mat lends color and interest without distraction. Robyn used a picture of her with her kids, as well as individual shots to show off their personalities. She also stamped on the wood veneer buttons to add fun designs to the accents.

      Julie combined stenciled blocks with square photos for a quick page. She took silly pictures of her and her mother and used the center block for quick journaling about their time together.

      Editor's Tip: Make a stencil using cardstock with a square punched from it. Spray ink over the stencil in two colors, then layer a paper doily on it, and spray a third color.

      Leah showed her son's rivalry with his cousin to gain her attention. She made a photo strip with a series of pictures showing the tots' interactions and then included one large photo of her holding both of them.
