What You Need
  • Patons, Shetland Chunky, 75% acrylic/25% wool, chunky weight yarn (148 yards per ball): 2 balls each of Deep Plum (03405) and High Plains Variegated (03609)
  • Size 13 (9 mm) knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge
Gauge

In Body Pattern using 2 strands of yarn, 10 sts and 14 rows = 4 inches/10 cm. TAKE TIME TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE!

Stitches Used

Body Pattern (a multiple of 3 sts + 2 sts; a rep of 4 rows)
Row 1 (RS): (K2, p1) across, ending k2.
Row 2: (P2, k1) across, ending p2.
Row 3: As Row 1.
Row 4 (WS): Knit.
Rep Rows 1-4 for Body Pattern.

Instructions

With 1 strand of each color, cast on 20 sts. Work in Body Pattern to approx 80 inches from beg, ending with Row 3. Bind off.
