Crocheted Sports Bedspread and Pillow Set

Designer Michelle Maks Thompson strikes again, this time with fast-finish squares worked in Softee Chunky from Bernat Yarns; the logos are cut from pennants and sewn or glued on.
PILLOW FRONT

With D, ch 38. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across -- 37 sts.
Row 1: Ch 1, sc in each sc across. Rep Row 1 for a total of 46 rows; fasten off.

Side Edges and Border: With RS facing and D, sc evenly along each Side Edge of Pillow. Join B in any sc and work 3 rnds sc same as for Bedspread.

BACK

Color sequence: (4 rows A, 2 rows B, 4 rows A, 2 rows C) 3 times, 4 rows A, 2 rows B, 4 rows A. With A, ch 38. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across -- 37 sts. Cont rep Row 1 until color sequence is complete -- 46 rows; fasten off.

Side Edges and Border: With RS facing and A, sc evenly along each Side Edge of Pillow. Join B in any sc and work 3 rnds sc same as for Bedspread.

FINISHING

Work 8 rows of cross-stitch embroidery in the same manner as for Bedspread. Sew desired appliqu�(s) on front of Pillow. Sew 3 sides of Pillow tog, insert pillow form, sew rem side closed.
