** Beg at lower edge with MC and smaller needles cast on 82 (82, 86, 86, 94) sts.
Ribbing, Row 1 (RS): P0 (0, 2, 2, 0); * k2, p2; rep from * across, ending k2 (2, 0, 0, 2).
Row 2: K0 (0, 2, 2, 0); * p2, k2; rep from * to across, ending p2 (2, 0, 0, 2). Rep Ribbing Rows 1-2 until work measures approx 3 1/2 (3 1/2, 3 1/2, 4, 4) inches from beg, ending with Row 2.

Cable Row: P0 (0, 2, 2, 0), (k2, p2) twice; * Cr6B, p2, k2, p2; rep from * across, ending k2, p0 (0, 2, 2, 0). Work 7 more rows of Ribbing and adjust stitch number by dec 4 (dec 0, dec 0, inc 4, inc 0) sts evenly across last row -- 78 (82, 86, 90, 94) sts.

Change to larger needles and proceed in St st Stripe pat as follows:
Rows 1-4: A.
Rows 5-8: B.
Rows 9-12: C.
Rows 13-16: D.
Rows 17-20: E.
Rows 21-24: MC.
These 24 rows form Stripe Pat. Cont in Stripe Pat until work from beg measures approx 10 1/2 (10 1/2, 10 1/2, 11, 11) inches ending with a WS row.

Armhole Shaping
Keeping cont of Stripe Pat, bind off 5 (6, 6, 6, 7) sts beg next 2 rows -- 68 (70, 74, 78, 80) sts.
** Next Row: K2, k2tog, pat to last 4 sts, ssk, k2. Work 1 row even. Rep last 2 rows 4 (4, 5, 6, 6) times more -- 58 (60, 62, 64, 66) sts. Cont even in pat until piece measures approx 17 1/2 (17 1/2, 18, 18 1/2, 19) inches from beg, ending with a WS row.

Shoulder Shaping
Bind off 7 (7, 7, 8, 8) sts beg next 2 rows, then 7 (8, 8, 8, 8) sts beg following 2 rows. Leave rem 30 (30, 32, 32, 34) sts on a st holder.


Front

Work from ** to ** as for Back.

Neck Shaping
Left Shoulder: K2, k2tog, pat across 26 (27, 29, 31, 32) sts, ssk, k2 (neck edge); turn, leave rem sts on a spare needle. Work 1 row even.
Next Row: K2, k2tog, pat to last 4 sts, ssk, k2. Rep last 2 rows 3 (3, 4, 5, 5) times more -- 24 (25, 25, 25, 26) sts. Dec 1 st at neck edge only on following alt rows until there are 18 (19, 19, 21, 22) sts, then on every 4th row until there are 14 (15, 15, 16, 16) sts.
Cont even in pat until piece measures approx 17 1/2 (17 1/2, 18, 18 1/2, 19) inches from beg, ending with a WS row.

Shoulder Shaping
Bind off 7 (7, 7, 8, 8) sts beg next row. Purl 1 row. Bind off rem 7 (8, 8, 8, 8) sts.
Right Shoulder: With RS of work facing, join yarn to rem sts and work to correspond to first side, reversing all shapings.


Finishing

Sew shoulder seams.
Neckband: With RS of work facing, MC and circular needle, pick up and knit 39 (39, 42, 42, 43) sts up right front neck edge. K30 (30, 32, 32, 34) from back st holder. Pick up and knit 39 (39, 42, 42, 43) sts down left front neck edge -- 108 (108, 116, 116, 120) sts. Do not join. Working back and forth across needle in rows, proceed:
Row 1 (WS): P3; * k2, p2; rep from * to last 5 sts, k2, p3.
Row 2: K3; * p2, k2; rep from * to last 5 sts, p2, k3. Rep last 2 rows once more, then Row 1 once. Bind off in ribbing. Place right front over left front and sew sides of neckband in position.
Armbands: With RS of work facing, MC and smaller needles, pick up and knit 86 (86, 90, 90, 94) sts along armhole edge.
Row 1 (WS): * P2, k2; rep from * to last 2 sts, p2.
Row 2: * K2, p2, rep from * to last 2 sts, k2. Rep last 2 rows once more, then Row 1 once. Bind off in ribbing. Sew side and armband seams.
