Giant Panda

It may look difficult to make, but you can crochet, stuff, and assemble this 18-inch-tall bear as you work.

chances are one day this bear will
be heading off to college.

What You Need

SKILL LEVEL Easy

SIZE 18 inches tall, seated


Yarns
  • Bernat Soft Bouclé; 98% acrylic/2% polyester, chunky weight; 5 ounces (140 grams), 255 yards.
  • 1 ball #6703 Natural (A)
  • 1 ball #6756 Black (B)

Hooks and Extras
  • Size J/10 (6.00 millimeter) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
  • Polyester stuffing
  • Stitch marker
  • Blunt-end yarn needle

Gauge
  • 10 sc and 9 rnds = 4 inches/10 centimeters
  • Take time to check your gauge.

Do not join rounds. Use a stitch marker to indicate beginning of each round, moving it up as you go from round to round.
