• Classic Merino Wool from Patons (Art. 244077) 100 percent wool; 3-1/2-ounce (100 g); 223 yds. (204 m); worsted weight
• 1 ball #208 Burgundy (A)
• 1 ball #209 Old Gold (B)

• Size J/10 (6 mm) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
• Polyester fiberfill
• Blunt-end yarn needle

14 sc and 14 rows = 4 inches (10 cm). Take time to check your gauge.

Ch 2.

Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook, place marker to mark beg of rnd.

Rnds 2-3: Work 2 sc in each sc around - 12 sc.

Rnd 4: Sc in each sc around.

Rnd 5: *Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc; rep from * around - 36 sc; fasten off B Center. Do not fasten off A Center.

Place B Center on top of A Center, lining up sts and with A, join the 2 centers with a rnd of sc worked through both thicknesses, stuffing with fiberfill before completing rnd - 36 sts around.

Next rnd: *Sk next st, 5 dc in next st, sk next st, sl st in next st; rep from * around - 9 petals; fasten off. Weave in loose ends.
