  • Classic Merino Wool from Patons (Art. 244077); 100% wool; 3-1/2 oz. (100 g); 223 yds. (205 m); worsted weight
  • 2 balls #202 Aran

Hook & Extras
  • Size G/6 (4 mm) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
  • Blunt-end yarn needle
  • One pair 6-inch-wide circular wood purse handles
  • 2 yards of 1-1/2-inch-wide satin ribbon

Gauge
  • 14 sc and 14 rows = 4 inches (10 cm). Take time to check your gauge.

Stitch Abbreviation
  • BPtr: yo twice, insert hook from back to front to back around post of next st 2 rows below and draw up a lp, (yo and draw through 2 lps on hook) 3 times.
  • BPtr2tog: *yo twice, insert hook from back to front to back around post of next st 2 rows below and draw up a lp, (yo and draw through 2 lps on hook) twice *, sk next 3 sts; rep from * to * once more, yo and draw through all 3 lps on hook.
  • FPtr: yo twice, insert hook from front to back to front around post of next st 2 rows below and draw up a lp, (yo and draw through 2 lps on hook) 3 times.
  • C4B: sk next 2 posts sts, work FPtr around post of each of next 2 post sts, FPtr around post of first of 2 skipped sts; working behind first 2 FPtr just made, FPtr around post of 2nd skipped st.

Special Stitch - Bobble
