Even if you're new to crochet, you'll easily pick up this simple V-stitch pattern. The scarf's long length makes it a versatile accessory for different types of wraps.

Finished measurements:
Approx 9×78", excluding fringe

Materials:
Super-bulky weight, 109 yards (100 m) in gold
Size P (11.5mm) crochet hook

Note: Gauge is not crucial to the success of this project.
Special Stitch: V-St = (Dc, ch 1, dc) into indicated st.

Instructions:
Ch 19.

Foundation Row (RS): V-St into fifth ch from hook, *skip next 2 ch, V-St into next ch; repeat from * across, ending with skip next ch, dc into last ch. Ch 3, turn.
Pattern Row: Skip first dc, *V-St into next ch-1 sp; repeat from * across, ending row with dc into top of turning-ch-3. Ch 3, turn.
Repeat Pattern Row until scarf measures approx 78" from beg.
Fasten off.

Finishing:
With RS facing, attach fringe to shorter ends of scarf. Trim fringe evenly.
