SHAPE ARMHOLE
Row 1: Sl st in each of first 5 (7, 8) hdc, ch 2, hdc2tog, hdc in each hdc to end; turn -- 12 (14, 17) sts. Row 2: Ch 2, hdc in each hdc to last 2 sts, hdc2tog; turn. Row 3: Ch 2, hdc2tog, hdc in each hdc to end; turn. Row 4: Work same as Row 2 -- 9 (11, 14) sts. Cont even until work measures 8 (8-1/2, 9) inches, ending with RS facing for next row. Fasten off.
FRONT BAND
Row 1: With RS facing, join MC with sl st at top front corner, ch 1 (sc, ch 1) 51 times evenly down front edge to foundation ch, sc in bottom corner, join A; turn. Row 2: With A ch 1, sc in first sc, *ch 2, sk next sc V-st in next sc, ch 1, sk next sc, sc in next ch-1 sp; rep from * across, ending with sc in last sc, join B; turn. Row 3: With B, ch 4 -- counts as tr; *(cluster, ch 1) 3 times in ch-2 sp of next V-st; rep from * across, ending with tr in last sc, join MC; turn. Row 4: With MC, ch 1, sc in first tr *ch 1, sc in next ch-1 sp; rep from * across, ending with sc in top of turning ch, join C; turn. Row 3: Ch 2, hdc in each to last 2 sts, hdc2tog; turn. Row 4: Work same as Row 2 -- 9 (11, 14) sts. Cont even until work measures 8 (8-1/2, 9) inches, ending with RS facing for next row. Fasten off.
FRONT BAND
Row 1: With WS facing, join MC with sl st at top Front corner, ch 1, (sc, ch 1) 51 times evenly down front edge to foundation ch, sc in bottom corner, join A, turn. Work as for Left Front Band from Row 2 to end.
