  • Sandpaper
  • Tack cloth
  • Primer
  • Latex paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Tape measure
  • Muslin
  • Upholstery batting
  • Orange wool blanket
  • Carpet thread
  • Heavy-duty needle
  • Staples and staple gun
  • Wood or fabric adhesive
  • Kit for 10 covered buttons
  • 10 sew-through buttons
  • Cording or braid (optional)
  • 2 yards of 45-inch-wide print fabric
  • Piping cord
