Contemporary Canvas
Cut colored papers into strips of varying widths. Using spray adhesive, mount the strips onto a foam-core board. Showcase you artwork in a metal frame, or for a less-expensive finishing touch, glue a length of grosgrain ribbon around the edges of the board. Still feeling stripey? Create a one-of-a-kind lamp by dressing a plain shade with grosgrain ribbons. Choose striped ribbons, or alternate with solid colors. Secure the ribbons to the shade with craft glue. Smooth the glue on the ribbon backs to avoid bumps and bulges.
