Painted Flower Place Mat

This striated pink place mat is tightly woven so it accepts paint easily. To create the confetti pattern on the flower center and napkin, simply dab paint with the tip of a brush.

Crafts Supplies for Painted Flower Place Mat

What you'll need:
  • Purchased pink fabric place mat
  • Acrylic crafts paints (We used Plaid Apple
    Barrel Bright Magenta #20591, Kiwi #20221,
    Satin Cream #20585, and Light Leaf Green
    #20221; and Delta Ceramcoat Hydrangea
    Pink #2449.)
  • Low-tack painter's tape
  • Dritz Disappearing Mark-B-Gone tracing paper
  • Plain paper
  • Clip art flower design for pattern
  • Delta Ceramcoat textile medium
  • Brushes: #6 and #10 stiff-bristle, 3/8-inch angle shader
