- 2 sturdy paper plates
- Paper punch
- 9 wood beads
- Twine (nine 10-inch lengths)
- Thick white crafts glue
1. With markers, make colorful patterns on the outside of each paper plate.
2. Holding the plates together with the tops facing, punch nine holes equally spaced around the edges. Tie a length of twine through each hole, knotting it at the hole and leaving the ends about 4 inches long. Thread a bead onto one of the ends and tie the two ends together, leaving ends about 1/2 inch long.
3. Glue a dowel between the plates. Let the glue dry.
