The perfect one-serving hot chocolate food gift! Anyone would love to receive this red-nosed jar filled with a delicious cocoa mix. Here's how to make it:

  1. Hot-glue googly eyes and a red pom-pom onto a small jar (approximately 1/2 pint).
  2. Twist two brown pipe cleaners around the jar lid for antlers.
  3. Layer 3 Tbsp. sugar, 3 Tbsp. cocoa powder, 5 Tbsp. powdered milk, 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate pieces, and 3 Tbsp. crushed peppermint sticks into the jar.

Make a bigger version of the mix:

Using a 1-1/2 quart canning jar, layer the ingredients according to the recipe, below. To decorate the jar, hot-glue brown pipe cleaners to the jar lid as antlers and attach sticker eyes and a red pom-pom a for facial features. Attach jingle bells with a length of ribbon around the top of jar.
