Silver Stars
under the tree as gift-tags for
holiday presents.
- 36-gauge aluminum tooling foil (available at crafts stores)
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Cutting mat (or folded newspaper, cardboard, or magazine)
- Scissors
- Tin punch
- Silver thread
Using the cutting mat as a pad, draw star shape on the foil using the pencil and the ruler as a guide. Cut out the star using the scissors.
Draw designs on star using the pencil, pressing firmly so design indents the foil.
Use a tin punch to make a hole at the top of star. Tie with silver thread.
