  • Drill and 1/16-inch bit
  • 4-inch-tall balsa-wood star
  • Wood stain
  • Rubber stamp: French script
  • Ink pad: black
  • Crafts glue
  • German glass glitter: silver
  • 22-gauge wire: silver
  • 3/4-inch vintage button: pearl
  • 5/8-inch-diameter round crystal
  • 1-1/2-inch-long teardrop crystal

Prepare the Star

Drill a small hole at both the top and bottom of star (see photo, above). Stain star on both sides, and let dry.

Decorate the Star

Stamp image on both sides of star using black ink. Apply a bead of crafts glue around the edge of the star; sprinkle star with glass glitter (see photo, above).

Add the Hanging Loop

Thread opposite wire end through top hole in star, wrapping excess wire back around itself between the star and button.

Make the Crystal Pendant
